It seems like it is forever raining and cold in these parts. When I lived in Florida it was warm and sunshiny, there were blue skies and puffy white clouds. People would talk about Georgia: its pretty green, rolling hills, but that they had a drought up north. Well let me tell you --- they got some of their facts wrong! I ain’t seen no drought! And with all the rain I’m not getting any travel time to see those pretty rolling hills. All it does is rain, rain, rain. And it’s cold outside, like crazy cold. It’s a good thing that I don’t require a long walk to take care of the basic necessities. When it’s raining, just find me a patch of grass and I’m good to go, and fine to get back inside. Longer walks are an occasional treat, but they are scarce these days.
Thankfully, FoPa (foster papa didn’t appreciate my French in the last blog) figured out this wood stove thingy. For the longest time he didn’t realize that you have to put wood in it and light a match. But, boy does it make my lounge bed cozy warm! I just curl up, close my eyes, and dream about all the wonderful warm days of spring that lie ahead. The only thing missing in my dream is what you look like (my 'forever' family, that is).

On these rainy days I’ve also discovered the extraordinary pleasure of a ‘bully stick’. Just check out the video and you can see and hear the contentment of that new found wonder chew! I sure am glad Teddy Roosevelt invented it (He’s the one that said “Bully! Give ‘em a big stick!”).
