Ears to You Kid!

FoMo (foster mom) says I need to let you know that I am broken. I am NOT broken, but she says to show you my "wondermous earsies".

This is me being relaxed and chilled. Perfect 'rose ears'.
Maybe I’ll take a nap.

This is me being happy, interested and ready to have fun.
Did somebody say "Let’s play"?

This is me seeing a yummy rabbit-y thing far, far away.

"Boomer!"
"Yes, FoMo?"
"That last picture is not of your ears. Those are Duncan's ears."
"Humph! I am wearing my striped suit, that's all. My ears are beautiful even if they don't stand up straight."
"Yes, Boomer, they are. You are a very handsome boy."
"Thank you."

(I wonder --- if foster mom is FoMo, is foster dad FauxPas?)

Play Time

I have a foster brother, Duncan. He shares his toys and we take walks every day together. It’s sort of fun seeing who can get their leash on and be first out the door (it’s usually me). Don’t get me wrong, Duncan’s smart enough, but I do stairs much better than him. I remember my first week here I went upstairs where the people have their bedrooms. They told me I wasn’t allowed upstairs. OK by me, I have a great bed downstairs (haven’t been upstairs since). I even understand when they say “Time for bed.” Having a ‘bro’ is good for playing and sharing walks, but I like my own space too.

New Friends

Hi! I’m Boomer and I moved into my foster home back before Christmas. A lot sure has happened since then. I’ve learned about trees in the house, people visiting for ‘parties’, doggie stockings, and even snow! I get to take walks every day and there are other dogs that get to walk in my neighborhood too. I’m so excited to meet them that my tail wags extra hard and you better not get in its way. My foster dad sometimes calls me Mr. Waggy-tail (boy is that dumb!). I tell everyone that I’m just visitin’ and trying to spread the love.
